Hawaii sure knows how to host celebrations and this New Year’s Eve is no exception! All across the major Hawaiian Islands, you can find fireworks shows, special holiday menus, music, dancing and much more to welcome in the new year.
Whether you’ll be celebrating this New Year’s Eve in Hawaii or considering a trip there for a future year, here are links what you’ll find on each major island:
Oahu New Year’s Eve Fireworks & Events – Oahu is the most popular island to celebrate New Year’s Eve in Hawaii. Our list indicates places to see midnight fireworks along with parties and special dinners with a focus on Waikiki Beach events.
Kauai New Year’s Eve Fireworks – Poipu Beach Resort Association hosts the Kauai’s big fireworks show at a more family-friendly time of 8:45pm. In addition to the grand finale of the fireworks, there will also be food trucks and a free movie on the beach.
No matter where you’ll be welcoming in 2016, we wish you a Hau’oli Makahiki Hou, which is the Hawaiian way to say Happy New Year.
