It had been recommended as one of the best celebrations on Maui. Unfortunately, it was vastly overpriced, the food was mediocre, the magic show was terrible and the music was great if you're 13 years old. We left early -- as did a number of other people. My advice is to make reservations at a nice restaurant, enjoy dinner and go for a walk on the beach. New Year's eve is just not a huge celebration on Maui.
