Orchid in the Sand

*  Are you planning to celebrate an anniversary on Maui? You might want to consider staying at one of the Maui Outrigger Condominiums as they are offering complimentary vow renewal ceremonies by the ocean at Merriman’s Kapalua on Wednesdays. Andy and I renewed our vows a couple of years ago with Outrigger at their Waikiki Reef on the Beach location. The complimentary ceremony was really well done. For more information about this amenity call toll free: 1-800-OUTRIGGER (688-4444).

*  For families, this Waikiki Embassy-Suites Family Fun Package does sound, well, fun. The package includes 2 days of unlimited trolley ride passes, all day beach rentals, a pizza pack, in-room movie and beach bucket. Check it out here.

Ko Olina resort on Oahu is offering several special rates this fall, including the new Disney resort, Aulani.

*  The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) is making it easier for families to visit this summer with two hot deals. The PCC is offering 50%off select keiki (child) rates, including General Admission and the Admission and Show Package. General Admission, regularly priced at $39.95, will now only cost $19.98 and the Admission and Show Package, which includes a free buffet dinner, regularly priced at $54.95, will now only cost $27.48. So more keiki may enjoy these rates the PCC is also raising the eligible ages for keiki prices to ages 5 through 15 (keiki ages 4 and younger will continue to receive free admission). Both the 50% and age increase offers are good through September 30. For more information visit www.Polynesia.com or call the PCC ticket office at (800) 367-7060.
