Hawaii Vacation News Roundup for October 21st

  • Attention scuba divers!  Go Visit Hawaii reader Susan Fleming shared a link for this super cool underwater pumpkin carving contest on Maui.  The contest will be on Saturday, October 27th at Keawakapu Beach in Kihei.  I just can’t get over how clever the contest is.
  • Another, Go Visit Hawaii reader, Lissete, has returned from her vacation to Maui, Oahu, and the Big Island.  She’s posted some great Hawaii vacation photos on her blog
  • If you’d like to take a cruise, but you’re unsure of what’s included or how to tip or how to deal with those formal dinners then, you’ll find this article about the five things you need to know about cruises to be very useful.
  • Does this new server make me look fat?  😛  Go Visit Hawaii is now on a new and faster server.  That’s half of the upgrades that have kept me quiet for the past couple of days.  I’m still awaiting the software upgrade.  Please keep your fingers crossed.
  1. Aloha and Mahalo,

I’m a bit late in commenting… but I just wanted to thank you for the link to my site.

Maui Dreams Dive Co. also hosts an Underwater Easter Egg Hunt the weekend before Easter which is loads of fun and lots of great prizes. You can even have your picture taken underwater with the “Easter Bunny.” I don’t know how far in advance you plan your posts, but just thought I’d mention it.

  2. Hi Susan – thanks for the Easter tip! That is too cool!
