Hi Charley – I’m glad that you liked the Kauai trip report. It is especially meaningful now that you, a Kauai expert, have put your stamp of approval on it Mahalo for stopping in and commenting!
Another fun event, for any scuba divers who are going to be vacationing on Maui for Halloween is the 9th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest hosted by Mau Dreams Dive Co. It takes place on Oct 27th this year… complete info here: http://www.mauidreamsdiveco.com/dive/events/index.php?id=6
Dave and I did 3 of the pumpkin dives when we lived on Maui. We had a great time each year and the last year, Dave and our oldest even won a prize for their pumpkin.
So for scuba divers… it would make a unique memory of their trip to Maui.
Hi Susan – That is too cool!! I’ll have to mention it in the next news roundup so that more folks will see it. Thanks so much for adding that!!
