You can’t say that Go Visit Hawaii doesn’t go to the ends of the earth to bring you the very best Hawaii vacation advice. The deserted beach pictured above can only be found after enduring a 10-mile bone shaking 4-wheel drive trail. It is well worth it have this secluded beach all to yourselves. If you’re lucky, you may find turtles and monk seals as your only neighbors on this beach.

My Mom was born on Lanai and I’ve never been there. Maybe I should plan a weekend there.
Kailani – It would be a great weekend trip for you. It’s pretty laid back there compared to Oahu and Maui. The Four Seasons resorts are very nice and apparently the kamaaina rate is pretty good as we heard a couple checking in at the same time. They opted for the kamaaina rate over the free night alternative. Sigh….I wish I could get the kamaaina rate.
