Mahalo to Lisa Christine from Michigan and Arizona for sharing Aloha Friday Photos that she snapped in Maui. The top photo was taken from the Hana area. Lisa said,
“I love taking pictures of interesting looking dead trees. Even in their “dead” state, there is immense beauty. I love that the coming storm in the background looks so ominous against the white and teal of the waves and the blackness of the tree and the old lava flow.”
Lisa shared this about the second photo,
“This was a last minute stop on the way to the airport from Kaanapali. The incredible lighting that day was calling to me against this dead tree. I absolutely love this picture.”
These photos demonstrate that even on overcast days, Hawaii is surrounded by so much beauty.
