Paradise Cove Luau Closing

We’re sad that Paradise Cove Luau on the west side of Oahu is closing after 47 years of sharing Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures. The picturesque luau grounds will be transformed into a $135-million dining and shopping complex over the next couple of years. We send our best wishes and say mahalo to the lovely employees and entertainers.

New Hanauma Bay Transportation Option

Getting to Hanauma Bay from Waikiki will become more convenient with optional transportation by electric bus. Reservations for entrance and transportation can be booked up to one month in advance. Learn more here. This new option starts at the beginning of December.

Federal Government Shutdown Affecting Hawaii Travel

The Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau issued new advice regarding the government shutdown. While travel to and from Hawaii remains mostly unaffected, HNL airport is one of the 40 airports across the nation that has been asked to reduce flights by approximately 10%. If you have upcoming travel, see the latest advise from the bureau along with infomation on the status of parks and attractions.
