- ABC Channel 7 out of Los Angeles has some interesting alternative Maui vacation destination suggestions. (Be sure and watch their video.) Their suggestions are to go into the upcountry Kula area to check the Surfing Goat Dairy and the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm. These are some pretty neat suggestions, especially if you’ve been to Maui several times and just want something new to do.

- KHNL has an article with a video segment showing the good looking passenger areas of the new Hawaii Superferry. In comparison to a plane, it looks to be a bit more roomy with cushy chairs and some family friendly tables with cafe type seating. It even has big screen TVs. According to the article, the ferry’s interior even exceeded the company’s expectations. The Hawaii Superferry is set to launch service next month offering service from Oahu to Maui and Kauai.
- And finally, here is one for our nice Aussie readers – Hawaiian Airlines just launched a sale on flights from Sydney to Honolulu starting at $1,157 (Australian Dollars) including taxes. That’s a pretty good deal, Mate.
