I am a retired Hawaiian Airlines captain, I have completed a 36 year career as a pilot for Hawaiian Airlines and can you beleive that the CEO will not honer a cotigent travel ticket for my wife and I to travel from Las Vegas to Hawaii and return, ths is the kind of respect you do not get for flying about 10 million in passangers revenue in the Islands for the Airline, and I beleive that the CEO of HAL gives his friends free tickets to travel on HAL. I was treated very respectful by the former President of HAL MR.Magoon, had him on my jump seat from Kauai to Honolulu and he spoke very highley of me to the board of Directors.
Aloha

This note is to be sent to the CEO of Hawaiian Aiorlines.
Dear Sir, Iwas enmployed by Hawaiian, for 35 years and when I took early retirement from flying in 1983, no one ever gave me any gift, not even a three day travel to the outer Islands, with all expenses and today I get to travel for free but on the standby bases, after 35 years we should have a free travel ticket, contegent for me and my wife, twice a year. I am sure that your friends get this and why can't I. After a 35 year career all I got was a letter. Thanks but no thanks.

That's a cool factoid, Dave.

I have to admit, it's the airline of my choice for inter-island flights.

BTW - Nobody has ever been injured by Hawaiian Airlines in the entire 80 years. They are arguably the safest airline in the entire world.
