Pearl Harbor Day happened on December 7, 1941. Sixty-eight years later we still remember Pearl Harbor Day and the events of December 7, 1941. My husband’s father fought in World War II, which inspired my husband to join the Marines and fight in Vietnam. I found your nice website after searching Google Blog so now i bookmarked! – Jannet

May – The Wet’n'Wild Water Park will have a Fireworks display for their Konishiki Ohana Day. It’s about a mile or two from the Ihilani Resort.

May – I checked with one of my Oahu contacts and verified that there will NOT be any July 4th fireworks at Ihilani. The good news is that there’s plenty more great fireworks shows to see on Oahu.

Stacey – looks like Bayfest is going to be held August 14 – 16, 2009 instead of July 4th weekend. Bands will be announced June 23rd. Stay tuned for more details…

Hi Stacey – I looked and looked and wasn’t able to find any info about Bayfest being held this year. Even the official Bayfest.com Web site has all of last year’s information in it. I’ll update this post if I hear any details.

Hi Duane – thanks for stopping by and commenting. My friend Dave had a neat suggestion that it would be pretty to go up to Round Top/Tantalus Drives to watch fireworks from there. That would be a neat perspective, wouldn’t it? Enjoy your 4th!
