If you’ve not yet had the pleasure of driving the Road to Hana, then watch this video to get a feel for what all the fuss is about.  If you’ve have experienced this beautiful drive, then you’ll enjoy revisiting it by video.

If you are planning a visit to Maui, I highly recommend you drive the Road to Hana whether on your own or with a tour company. In fact, I list taking this lovely drive in my top five things you must see and do on Maui. When you go, make sure you are prepared by reviewing my tips for driving the Road to Hana.

    Fantastic video! With all of the activities that you can do in Hawaii, recommending to someone to “take a drive” might seem dull and old-fashioned – but this vid does a great job of showing just how full of excitement the Road to Hana really is. Thanks!

    @ Ami – you know, I’ve never thought about the Road to Hana being full of excitement, but you’re exactly right. When I recall driving it, I picture myself gawking over the scenery and anxiously anticipating what’s around the next curve.

    Ok, now this conversation is just torturing me because I want to get back to Maui to enjoy this drive again. :)

    It truly is one of the more beautiful things on Maui! There’s something about Hana. The country, the water, the horses. Hana is a beautiful place for sure! Great video!
