Dany described this photo as a “super souvenir.” This view is definitely a frame-worthy memory. To get to this view, you must hike to the top of Le’ahi, which is more commonly known as the iconic Diamond Head crater. It’s a steep hike with lots of switchbacks, but the views from the top make the hike worth the effort.
In recent years, it’s gotten trickier for visitors hike Diamond Head due to a reservation system that started in 2022. The current policy states that reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. So, if you want to take in this view, you’ll need to plan ahead and familiarize yourself with the process, create an account, etc.

Very nice picture! I’ve never attempted Diamond Head. Looks like views are amazing!
