The age-old saying is that the early bird catches the worm. On this particular occasion, the early hikers enjoy the empty Thurston Lava Tube Trail without another soul in sight. The fresh dew glimmered with the rising morning sun, while the birds sang at the start of a new day. It was a morning to remember.
