It would have been good if the show directors had put out a sign indicating the show was cancelled. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over their decisions and communications. I don't know why the show directors decided to cancel the show, but a couple of days ago, I did happen to learn that they canceled all Tuesday shows in December 2011. So, we waited also from 5:45 to 6:45 with crowd. There was not a show. Very disappointed!! Rest of week was booked to try and see show another evening. Even though this is free which is GREAT, Information published still needs to be consistent and correct for visitors, or sign posted at location "no show", or someone show up to let attendees know "no show". If our group would have had correct information we would have scheduled other activities on a different night in order to include the Hula Show on Wakiki. Jamie in Florida. As best I can remember, it goes on for about 45 minutes. You are free to leave at any time, so you can catch as much or as little as you want of this show. To be safe, you should plan 45 minutes to get to the airport from Waikiki. Then you need time to get through security and to your gate for your flight. The show is different every time and it is a great show to see. I saw this beach show 4 times over a 2 week period. It also provides a wonderful opportunity to catch the fantastic sunset on Waikiki Beach. The show is narrated and has many explanations of Hawaaian culture. It is full of humor and best of all it's FREE. If you buy the cookies that are sold for fundraising of this show, they are delicious!
