Wow, that is pretty sweet. Reminds me of those Sandblasters contest that they have on the Travel Channel every now and then.
We saw a few guys building a long alligator (or crocodile, I don’t know) on Ka’anapali Beach right out front of Whalers Village one year. It wasn’t exactly finished when we walked past, and I don’t think I grabbed a photo of it (shame on me). They were really serious about it, too. They had those spray containers for water and all sorts of little instruments they were using for detailing. I definitely wasn’t as elaborate as this one, though.
