@ Evelyn – Maybe I’m off base here or perhaps some wishful thinking – but I think that maybe that shaka gave the world a little curiosity into the culture of Hawaii.

We were so tickled when he did it and we had to laugh at the CNN reporters who didn’t quite get it right when they talked about it. I love that picture that Melissa posted!

@ Jim – well, the fares did go up for a good part of last year, but when the economy started tanking, people started traveling less. So, the good ol’ law of supply and demand has once again activated. Fares are looking especially good through May.

That’s funny, I always thought that with ATA going out of business fares would be more expensive (less competition) but I guess not!

Hi Jim – yeah and this Outrigger is right on the beach, not across the street. By the way, I’ve seen fares as low as about $440 from Baltimore.
