Road Narrows Sign covered in Moss

We took the photo of this road narrows sign near the start of the Manoa Falls Trail on Oahu. With all the moss growing on it, the sign nearly blends in with the trees and tropical jungle scene around it.

I m enjoying your “signs of Hawaii” posts. They are interesting, including this moss covered one.

I was trying to find the one we took of “Pigs Crossing” somewhere in Keanae – I will e-mail it to you when I find it :)

Jim – verdant is great way to describe Hawaii. You’ve reminded me that I need to add refreshing and increasing my vocabulary as a 2009 resolution. :)

Verdant is about the extent of my vocabulary when describing nature. :)
