Hawaii Vacation News Roundup for June 5th

The Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in Waikiki is celebrating the completion of their $115 million revitalization with several open house events the week of June 14th.

I received word that the Aqua Coconut Waikiki boutique hotel is offering a special rate to celebrate their grand opening after a $2.6 million renovation. The special offer of $119 per night from now through the end of July. Call 1-866-406-2782 and reference the offer “Going Coconuts” for more information.

The famous Waikiki hotel, the Royal Hawaiian, just closed this week for a $110 million renovation. It’s due to reopen in January. You may know the Royal Hawaiian by its nickname, the “pink palace”.

We should have more interisland flight options as Hawaiian Airlines will be adding four planes to its interisland fleet beginning in September
