Hawaii Vacation News Roundup for July 19th

KHNL has a report about a good Hawaii online hiking guide. The guide provides directions and safety tips for trails on all the islands, including four on Lanai and one on Molokai. Over 175 miles of trails across Hawaii are covered in this online guide called, Na Ala Hele. The guide is maintained by the State of Hawaii Trail and Access Program.

This fall looks like it is shaping up to be a great time to find more affordable airfare and accommodations for your Hawaii vacation. We’ve been considering a trip back to Maui in September and on VRBO, I’ve come across several great looking condos on sale in the Wailea area for around $150 to $250 per night. The LA Times Daily Travel Deal Blog is reporting that airfares from LAX to Hawaii for late-August through October are at least a hundred dollars less than the summer fares. Sounds like a great time to Go Visit Hawaii.
