Grand Hyatt Kauai ANARA Spa is Bigger and Better

Kauai

imageI received notification that the Grand Hyatt Kauai ANARA Spa has completed a multi-million dollar renovation and is now “bigger and better”. The tropical garden setting spa has expanded to 45,000 square feet. That’s the second largest spa in Hawaii, behind the Spa Grand at the Grand Wailea on Maui.

The spa added five open air thatched roof hales (bungalows) for single or couples massage. (See the photo on the left.) Each hale features a lava rock shower and steam grotto. It sounds divine.

The expansion also added a Vichy treatment room, two lava rock botanical baths, a relaxation room, and an open-air hale for fitness classes, yoga, and personal training.

You can learn more about the spa and their treatments from their website.  And don’t forget to check out these excellent tips for getting the most out of your Kauai spa treatment.

  1. We were members of the ANARA Spa for 5 years and give it our top recommendation. Paul Reynolds, one of the best yoga teachers on Kauai, holds classes in their fitness center on Thursdays at 11am and 5pm. If you go you may run into a celebrity. We met John Travolta in the hot tub and many others. The daily pass for non-guests is $50 and a fun splurge in beautiful surroundings. Enjoy! Rob

It is a lovely spa, Rob. I look forward to checking out the improvements. I can hear the waterfalls now. :)
