When you go through the difficult choices of which hotel to book, next you must select a room category. I tend to over analyze decisions like these due to my nerdy engineering degree and career. So I know how difficult these decisions can be. While oceanfront hotels and rooms are more expensive than mountain or city-view options, getting to enjoy a the ocean scenes like the one in this week’s photo is practically priceless.
An ocean-view room not only provides great water views. It’s also lovely to listen to the southing sounds of the ocean lapping at the shore.
We have reluctantly splurged on oceanfront rooms at Hawaii hotels. Though it made a dent in our wallet, we’ve never regretted those decisions.
If your budget doesn’t allow for the primo views, no worries! Spending time at Hawaii beaches is absolutely free.
