This photo was taken from Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie on Oahu’s North Shore. We’ve been to the Polynesian Cultural Center many times and have always enjoyed learning about the cultures of the various Polynesian islands, like Samoa, Tahiti, Fiji, Tonga New Zealand and, of course, Hawaii
The center presents a daily Huki performance on these lagoon waters you see in the photo. It’s quite an impressive, one-of-kind show with dancers and singers performing on their floating stage of double-hull canoes.
