Oahu is blessed with wonderful weather all year long. We’ve been to Oahu in all seasons and have always found the weather to be fantastic. Even in the “chillier” winter months of November through March, the daytime high temperatures average around 80F degrees.
Oahu tends to receive a bit more rain during winter months, however, rain tends to come in short bursts followed by sunshine. See this link for a chart showing year round temperature and rainfall averages for Oahu.
In terms of deals, you’ll typically find the best deals during the months of April, May, September, October, November and December — excluding holidays. In addition to great deals, you’ll also find that these are the least crowded months to vacation on Oahu.
If you are aiming for optimal weather, good deals and no crowds, April and the first few weeks of May are ideal.
Other great times and reasons to visit Oahu are:
- See the famous North Shore monster 20 to 30-foot waves that usually start up in December and last through February.
- New Year’s Eve and July 4th are both big nights for fireworks on Oahu.
