This week’s featured photo is courtesy of Hawaii’s largest shopping mall, Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. We were struck by the composition of this photo with the reflection of the lights on the water and also by the contrast of a Christmas tree in the midst of palm trees.
We have loved our visits to Hawaii in December. One of our favorite things to do this time of year is to check out the Christmas decorations in hotels and shopping centers. While some decorations look very similar to what you’d find on the mainland, we marvel at the Hawaii-inspired and tropical-style decorations.
