JW took this beautiful heliconia photo from Waimea Valley on Oahu’s North Shore. I love how how captured this bloom with the sunlight on it. The lighting really makes the colors pop more intensely.
Waimea Valley might be more known by its waterfall-fed swimming spot, but it’s much more that that! The valley has 52 themed gardens and over 5,000 document types of tropical and sub-tropical plant. We have enjoyed a lovely visit at Waimea Valley and recommend it.
