As you might be able to tell, the sky in this photo might be described as mostly cloudy with only a small bit of blue sky peeking through. As the sun was setting on this day, the clouds came to life with amazing shades of purple, maroon, rust, orange, peach and yellow. What a masterpiece!
We encourage visitors to try to catch as many sunsets as possible on their Hawaii vacations. Each one is unique. As Robyn’s photo demonstrates, don’t let a few clouds deter you from watching sunset as the light creates the most wonderful colors in the clouds.
