Fantastic Independence Day events in Hawaii – July 4th 2017

You still have time to get to Hawaii to enjoy the many fourth of July events planned across the islands. You’ll find family-friendly celebrations including parades, games, live music, local food and, of course, dazzling fireworks displays!

Some of Hawaii’s July 4th events are unique and special to the islands. With swaying palms and the abundance of Hawaiian music and food, you’ll know you’re in the Aloha State.

The Big Island of Hawaii offers the most unique Independence Day celebrations in the state. In the ranch area of Waimea, you’ll find the 55th annual fourth of July Parker Ranch Rodeo that honors the skill and history of the paniolo, the Hawaiian cowboy. Also, on the Big Island, the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel holds their 28th annual Turtle Independence Day Celebration to release sea turtles into the ocean.
