Overall, Kauai has more rainfall than the other Hawaiian Islands, which makes for the island’s lush tropical paradise. If you are considering a trip to Kauai, you may want to try to try to stay in the driest regions during the rainier months of November through March.  That being said, generally rain falls overnight and for short bursts. If you’ll be going to Kauai during those rainier months, please read my article, Where to Stay on Kauai for the Best Weather.

Some of the best Kauai hotel deals are offered in the months of April, May, September, October, November, and December, with the exception of holidays. The best deals are offered during these months because the demand is generally down. So that means when you visit during those months, you’ll find less crowds.

Considering weather, deals, and demand, the ideal months to visit Kauai are April, May, September, and October. See our article on the best times to visit Hawaii for more details.
