Mahalo to Dan Mazzei from Seattle for sharing this beautiful Aloha Friday Photo.
Dan told us that he took this golden sunset shot from the Mauna Lani golf course on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii. With skies this beautiful, you can see why golfers see a lot of “birdies” and “eagles” at the Mauna Lani golf course! ?
The Hawaiian Islands are blessed with many beautiful golf course views. If you don’t golf, perhaps seeing a course like this one might inspire you to want to take up the sport.
According to Golf Digest, they describe the Aloha State’s unrivaled terrain and visual appeal as “equal parts dramatic and tranquil. More than just visual stimulation, however, Hawaii’s often-strong trade winds demand shot-making and invite a more creative style of play.”
A Hawaii course typically hosts the first PGA tournament of the year. As we shared in our guide to a January 2026 Hawaii vacation, the Sony Open in Hawaii kicks off the PGA’s 2026 tour on the 12th.
Happy Aloha Friday!
