My husband surprised me with a fall 2023 trip to Maui for my birthday last week! Haven’t been back to Maui since our honeymoon in 2010! 13 years later with 3 kids in tow! So excited for my kids to learn about the Hawaiian culture & the expansive sea life that I fell in love with when I first visited with my parents years ago.
Some friends and I have been talking about visiting Hawaii together for a few years now. This year several of us are turning 45 so we are hoping to do a joint celebration in Hawaii at some point this year. It’ll be a dream come true if we make it happen.

Hoping to return this summer with our friends. Stayed at Kaanapali Beach Hotel when our girls were young. Swimming with the turtles right offshore of our hotel was amazing!
We will be on Maui and Oahu in March/April – part of the time with kids and grands and part of the time with my husband and myself. Such an exciting time!
We are visiting Waikiki ilikai in May 2023 for 10 days after COVID has messed our annual plans. We are looking forward to seeing Hawaii again after what will be 4 years and travel restrictions we have had to live with.
We will celebrate my birthday, as well as say hi to the whales. We plan on visiting Lanai and Maui. Mahalo for the contest.
I visited Maui in July of 2022.
The people were extremely welcoming and you can’t bet all the beauty Hawaii has to offer like,
The beaches, Road to Hana, snorkeling, Luau’s, exploring, shopping, food, and of course the famous shaved ice.
I can’t wait to return in June of 2023, to explore many more sights of this gorgeous island.
I am planning to visit Oahu and attend my nephews wedding. I am super excited about it!!!

We plan on visiting Maui in September for a friends 60th birthday celebration. Five high school friends. Woo Hoo!
We visited many times and decided now to stay with our puppies in tow. The calendar will be beautiful art for our new place. Aloha!
My wife and I are retired schoolteachers. We were blessed to be able to do summer car travels with our 3 boys to all 48 contiguous states. All five of us have recently traveled to the 49th state of Alaska. We planned a July 2021 family trip to Hawaii that had to be canceled due to Covid restrictions. We then planned a December 2022 trip together that we happily canceled due to the recent birth of a grandson this December. We are hoping the 3rd attempt will be the charm as we have plans to visit in 2023 the 50th State of Hawaii for what each of us will be our 50th state visited!
We plan on visiting Honolulu to see friends and then Volcano, Kona, and Hilo exploring places we might want to live in retirement!
Aloha, I will be coming back with my mom’s ashes soon. We use to live on Oahu, and consider Hawaii our home. Ohana always in our hearts.
My husband and I will celebrate our 30th anniversary with a trip to Maui. This will be our sixth trip and each time we see and learn new things.
We love that we can visit many beaches on the island and have
different experience/activities at each.
My husband and I along with a sister/friend will be traveling to Kauai for a week in the middle of March and then going to the Big Island for another week. We there when Kilauea was doing her thing and we had one of our pictures on govisithawaii. Due to this site we are going to the Waipio Valley for the first time! We’ve been going to Hawaii since 1987 and we will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and my husbands 80th birthday!

I dream with visiting Hawaii, specially Maui, for more than 15 years now. When I said it to my mother she said “it’s easy, you just need to save the money for it”, and after saving money for it, the moment for going there didn’t arrive. This year is the year… I feel it, Maui is calling me 🙂
Peace for all! Thank you!
We are visiting Maui in June to celebrate my son’s high school graduation. It will be his first time on Maui and our 2nd, but it has been 15 years since we’ve been and cannot wait to return! He’s so excited to relax and celebrate. Aloha and mahalo!
In July of this year we are spending 17 days vacationing in the most beautiful state of the USA. This will be our 4th visit to Hawaii over the past 10 years. This trip will be equally divided visiting Oahu and Maui. Our trip this year will be very special celebrating our daughter’s 18th birthday at the Hale Koa Resort.
Five years ago my wife and I started a tradition to spend our March wedding anniversary on Maui at the same Kahana condo complex we went to 45 years ago. We both enjoy snorkeling and hiking. We love taking at least one charter snorkel trip where we meet wonderful people from all over the world. This year we want to go horseback riding at Lahaina Stables. I’d love the calendar to mark that date.
We will be going to the big island in May with our good friends ,Mike and Alana.Going to be staying at our cousins condo at Fairway Villa which we have stayed before and loved it. It will be our friends first time to the big island but we have been many times before. Can’t wait!

Hello and Happy New Year!
My daughter and I will make our yearly trip the first of October. We’ve never been in October, so I do hope it’s a great time to go. No special occasion, just going back because we love it. We take one vacation a year and it’s to Oahu. I guess we should branch out and go to another Island but there is just so many different things to do on Oahu.
Hope everyone going this year has an awesome time!
Last visited the Islands in 1999 so very excited about a return trip. Love seeing your weekly emails and beautiful pictures.
We went to Maui last year (at 59, the single greatest vacation of my life) so, this year, we are going to Kaua’i’. Staying in Princeville to explore the North Shore Beaches. Swimming and snorkeling. A day being spent on the East side. A day on the West side. 1&1/2 days south. And 1&1/2 days in the inner canyons. One day open.
I’ve decided to make the Kauhi 2023 Marathon my final marathon! This is my favorite marathon (and toughest) so no better way to finish my marathon career> 65 years old will be ready. The reason I love this marathon is the tremendous support from all the neighbors and community cheering us on!!!! See you in September! Mahalo!!!!!
I will be heading to Maalaea with my mom and her best friend from college in February for their 80th birthday celebrations! They have been best friends for 62 years! They’ve both cared for and lost their husbands in recent years. Now, it’s time to celebrate them and that amazing friendship. #lifegoals #lavaflows #pupus 🙂

My husband and I plan to return to Kauai in July 2023 for our summer vacation. We originally visited in 2013 an immediately fell in love with the lush nature and beautiful beaches.
Since then we’ve visited all the island’s, returning to the Big Island 3 times but anticipating our return to Kauai is something we are both looking forward to.
My boyfriend and I will be out there on the big island the week and next week. We have waited so long to have grown children to start vacationing just the two of us. We are in our mid forties and ready to rock and roll. Excited that Hawaii is first on our traveling list!
Would love to celebrate our 20-year anniversary this year in Hawaii.
We are going to Hawaii in May. We will be celebrating our 30-year wedding anniversary and both of our kids graduating from college:
We are looking forward to teaching our young daughters how to swim there and coming on a family vacation soon. In 2025 we hope to celebrate our 25th anniversary in Hawaii and have a vow renewal. Hawaii is a very special, magical place.
My partner and I have just got engaged in Rome and we had already planned to visit friends who live in Kauai in March. We live in the UK – we all used to live in the BVI in the Caribbean but we moved back to UK and they moved to Kauai. We are so excited to see them again and go diving! We may end up looking at getting married in Kauai whilst we are there! 😀
We love Hawaii and all of the Islands. We just spent Christmas on the island of Hawaii and Maui and had the most amazing time once again. The only island we have not had a chance to visit yet is Kauai and that is on our summer list. We will be celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and spending it on Kauai. This beautiful desk calendar would be the perfect way to count down to our vacation while plowing through winter at work here in Canada. Thank you and Mahalo
