Here’s what’s happening this July 4th, 2015:
Lahaina Town hosts an old fashioned Independence Day celebration including music, food, kids activities and a grand fireworks show.
The fireworks show is set to start at 8pm. This display will be visible from Lahaina’s Front Street waterfront and from waterfront restaurants. Synchronized music can be heard from Hard Rock Cafe Maui at 900 Front Street.
Prior to the fireworks, you’ll find entertainment in Lahaina. Here’s the slate of events From the LahainaTown Action Committee flyer.
For alternative views of the Lahaina July 4th fireworks, consider these cruise options that have availability at the time of publishing:
– Pacific Whale Foundation has availability for a couple of catamaran cruises to see the fireworks.
How about an island hop from Maui to Lanai for July 4th? The annual Pineapple Festival is the biggest festival of the year for Lanai. Expeditions Ferry will be running special extended service on July 4th.
Hawaiian entertainer, Willie K will be performing at the festival. The event will be capped off with a fabulous fireworks display. See this link for more information.

Four adults will be in Maui for 4th of July 2016. We are interested in a dinner cruise. The one on your site, PacificWhale.com said no seats available. Do you recommend any other cruises?
Susan - A lot of the links for one year's events are no longer active after the event. That's probably what's happened in this case. PWF will most likely offer a July 4th dinner cruise again in 2016, but they've not posted it yet. Perhaps you could bookmark their holiday and specialty cruise page to check for 2016 holiday cruises.
Alternatively, we have heard excellent things about Ali'i Nui Sailing. They're usually more expensive, but they offer transportation and, from what we hear, a high-end experience. So, check them out, too.
