Kris from Illinois sent in today’s Aloha Friday Photo. Kris took this photo while he was at the Maui Photo Festival last August. More specifically, he was on a photo session in a doors-off helicopter tour.
This photo gives a great aerial view of Kaanapali Beach – Kris’ favorite beach. Does this photo make you want to swoop into a soft landing on that sandy beach like it does to me?

Great shot! You don’t often get to see Kaanapali from that perspective.
Oh, how I love that beach! I got engaged right smack in the middle of that strip of sand. Kaanapali will always hold a special place in my heart!
