I have good news to pass along to you from our friends at the Waikiki Improvement Association, the fireworks show has been confirmed!* For my fellow Carolinians, today is the day for the inaugural US Airways direct flight from Charlotte to Honolulu. The flying time to Honolulu is just over 10 hours and the return flight takes approximately 9 hours. That may sound long, but it’s really a time saver.
* Continental Airlines is adding new flight service from Orange County to Maui beginning in March.
