Another fun event, for any scuba divers who are going to be vacationing on Maui for Halloween is the 9th Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest hosted by Mau Dreams Dive Co. It takes place on Oct 27th this year... complete info here: http://www.mauidreamsdiveco.com/dive/events/index.php?id=6
Dave and I did 3 of the pumpkin dives when we lived on Maui. We had a great time each year and the last year, Dave and our oldest even won a prize for their pumpkin.
So for scuba divers... it would make a unique memory of their trip to Maui.
