  • There is a new lava eruption point at Kilauea.  It is located east of Pu’u O’o.  For a live panoramic view of the new eruption point, click here.  The dramatic lava lake in Pu’u O’o seems to have stopped in the last week. 

 

  • Fine Living has listed five beautiful US drives with tips on where to stop and what to see.  The scenic Hawaii drive making their list is the drive around the Big Island.

 

  • I love watching Samantha Brown’s shows on the Travel Channel.  She always seems to explore the best places and activities for all price ranges.  On the Travel Channel’s web site, she lists her top suggestions for what to see and do on the islands.  Thanks to Chris Wilson for the link.
