Is that the Mauna Kea in the background?
I think that is probably Kaho’olawe, as that photo looks like a beach near Ma’alaea. You cannot see Mauna Kea or Mauna Loa from Maui, except on occasion from the Haleakala summit when you have a clear day. And in the winter they are sometimes snow-peaked as well!
So disappointed bc our family of 10 will have to cancel our trip to Hawaii till this mess opens up your state??
