Floating in Paradise at Disney’s Aulani Resort

While banking curves as I sped down the waterslide, I felt like a kid again. I’m sure I momentarily reverted back to grade school-level silliness as I tried to push Andy into one of the drenching waterfall stations. It was a giggle-filled blast on the Waikolohe Streams at Aulani

!

Andy created a nice little video montage of our time on Waikolohe Steams. I hope you’ll enjoy this playful little video.

Waikolohe Stream is a free amenity at Aulani. As a guest, all you need to do is pick up a free wrist band from the towel station and you’re good to go. We felt really safe as we were never out of the sight of a lifeguard.

Aulani’s water features are really one-of-a-kind for Oahu, and possibly, all of Hawaii. (Maui’s Grand Wailea might be Aulani’s only competition in the best Hawaii pool fun category.) What I like is that you see just as many grown-ups enjoying the water adventures as you see kids.

Ah, it was fun to be a kid again!

Disney has kindly sponsored our visit, but the opinions (and fun) are all mine.  To see more of the Aulani resort, see our Video Tour of Aulani and our Aulani review.

  • I love the toes!
Looks like you're having a great trip :) That gorgeous Hawaiian sunshine is not making Fall in Colorado any warmer though. Can't wait to get a trip to the Aloha State booked!

  • Ok, between this video and Kara's writeup of the spa, I'm DEFINITELY going to have to get back out there. How fun!

  • Looks like fun... glad to hear you enjoyed!! :-)

Looking forward to you sharing more about Aulani, looks nice there!

  • Can you purchase a day pass to use the Waikolohe Stream if you are not a guest at the resort?

    • Disney Aulani is not offering the option to buy a day pass to use the pools and water features. If you are interested in enjoying the pool area for a day, consider paying for a one-night stay in a room with the lowest rate -- even if you aren't going to spend the night in the room. You must show your room key in order to get the wrist bands to use the pool area.
