Hawaii Vacation News Roundup for August 5th
- Good grief! There’s no wonder that Haleakala National Park is considering whether to restrict or halt the downhill bike rides from the top of the crater. Per KHNL, Maui Memorial Hospital reports seeing “at least two to five injured cyclists in their emergency room each week with broken bones or facial injuries from their downhill ride” at Haleakala.
- Which Hawaii beach is considered the sexiest? According to Concierge.com, Kaanapali Beach in Maui made their 2007 World’s Sexiest Beaches list. These lists make me laugh. How can you say Kaanapali Beach is sexier than Wailea Beach or Kapalua Beach? I’m going to come up with a list of best beaches to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Do you think that will be a hit? 😉

I agree with the "sexiest beach" thing. To me any clean unspoiled beach in Hawaii is sexy. But I think your idea about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches would be a hit. ;)
For that category, I highly recommend Ala Moana!
