Yuliya’s shot was taken in Waikoloa on Hawaii (Big) Island. We have seen many honu (turtles) relaxing along the shoreline in Waikoloa. In fact, the entire Kohala Coast is an excellent place to see Hawaiian sea turtles
.Honu come onto the beaches to rest. So, if you see one, please give them their space so they can relax and rejuvenate. A distance of at least 10 feet or 3 meters is recommended.
