Maui See & Do

Take me there Tuesday: Pipiwai Trail, Maui

Waimoku Falls

Driving Maui’s delightful road to Hana (and beyond) can be an action packed day. With so much to see and do, it’s challenging to budget your time, but if you are up for a hike, the Pipiwai Trail is one that’s worth your time. (Allow between 2 to 2.5 hours to complete this 4-mile hike.)

The trail goes past banyan trees, a lovely bamboo forest and streams, but the ultimate reward for this hike is seeing the 400-foot Waimoku Waterfall.

For more details, see our advice for hiking the Pipiwai Trail to Waimoku Falls.
