Picture yourself wandering underneath the dappled shade of plumeria trees. Imagine a gentle, plumeria-scented breeze. Sounds delightful, doesn’t it? Though these thoughts may sound like a dream, you can make it a reality by visiting the Molokai Plumeria Farm
on the island of Molokai. With today, May 1st, being Lei Day in Hawaii, we thought it was the perfect time to highlight the Molokai Plumeria Farm for this edition of “Take me there Tuesday.” The beautiful and fragrant plumeria flower is a popular bloom sewn into a Hawaiian lei.
The Molokai Plumeria Farm harvests thousands of plumeria blooms to make and distribute leis locally and to be shipped to the mainland.
