Mahalo to Hawaii Island resident James Grenz for sharing this gorgeous plumeria photo with us for Aloha Friday Photos. James’ title for this photo is Big Island Aloha
. What a warm and beautiful greeting it is!You can find plumeria trees throughout the Hawaiian Islands. Along with the hibiscus bloom, seeing the plumeria flower almost instantly reminds visitors of their trip to Hawaii.
If you love plumeria, you might be interested in visiting the plumeria farm on Molokai. There, you can see different varieties. You can even pick blooms to make a lei. By the way, if you can’t get to the farm, the farm can come to you, so to speak, as they ship loose plumeria blooms and leis to the mainland.
Enjoy the photo, imagine that you can savor the sweet fragrance and have a happy Aloha Friday!

The plumaria photo is beautiful, even though I can't smell it
or feel the waterdrops on my neck.
WHY did I ever leave Hawaii? Well, I will get myself and
my partner, Kate back there to live. I love Hawaii. All
of it and the people, too.
If you visit Imagine-Hawaii.com, you will find my 18 year old
site looking very tired and a little broken. There is not much
there to see. The most visited pages are:
..../hawaiiradio.com and ...../climate.com
Cheers. I love your site.
