Celebrating Flag Day with my favorite flag photo from Hawaii

With today being National Flag Day in the US, I wanted to share my favorite photo (above) of Old Glory in Hawaii.

Andy took this photo  from inside the USS Arizona Memorial

at Pearl Harbor. The memorial’s design includes open-top, skylight sections. Towards the center, Andy looked through one of the skylights to notice this view of the flag beautifully waving with the sun behind it.

Here are a couple more photos of this same flag from different vantage points. This first photo shows a part of the skylight opening plus the flag.

This final photo shows the flag as you see it from the boat that shuttles you to and from the visitors center.
