Veterans Day Event at Battleship Missouri Memorial in Pearl Harbor

If you need an immediate excuse to go visit Hawaii, then how about going there to celebrate and honor our veterans on Veterans Day this November 11th. If you’re going, you might want to make plans to be at Battleship Missouri Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony.

The public is invited aboard the “Mighty Mo” to salute our nation’s veterans, as State of Hawaii Adjutant General Major. Gen. Robert G.F. Lee keynotes the Battleship Missouri Veterans Day Sunset Ceremony on Thursday, November 11th, from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. on the historic ship.

Free and open to the public with advance reservations, the ceremony will serve as a tribute to all U.S. veterans who have and continue to selflessly defend our nation and freedom. The event will feature the U.S. Pacific Fleet Band, The Sounds of Aloha Chorus, parade of Colors, Echo Taps and a rifle volley salute in honor of those veterans who paid the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.
