What a beautiful photograph! My roots are in Hanalei, my grandmother was born there. Back in those days, Hanalei was planted in rice, and she was born to rice farmers.
What a beautiful place to claim your roots in! I think that Princeville/Hanalei area might be my favorite are in Hawaii.
