Mahalo to Mae for sending this beautiful photo with us for Aloha Friday Photos. Here’s what Mae shared with us,
“This photo was taken at The Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens in Wailuku, Maui. It offered solace, tranquility and a place to reflect after the recent devastating wildfires on Maui.”
As you can see from the photo, Mae certainly chose a peaceful place in Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens.
These gardens, which celebrate the diverse cultures from the plantation days, are located in the lush Iao Valley. In fact, this garden is located just outside Iao Valley State Park. When you visit the area, plan to make a stop to walk around the grounds and perhaps reflect like Mae did.
