Big Island See & Do

Aloha Friday Photo: Such an engaging site!

Mahalo to Anna Gattermayr from Barossa Valley, South Australia for sharing this beautiful photo with us for Aloha Friday Photos. What makes this photo particularly special is this spot is where Anna’s fiancé proposed to her in October 2016! Wow, didn’t he pick a fantastic location?!

This photo was taken on the grounds of Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park on the Hawaii’s Big Island. You may have heard this park referred to as Place of Refuge. We highly recommend visiting this park not only for its beauty, but also for the excellent view into ancient Hawaiian life an culture. Pu’uhonua o Honaunau is definitely one of the must see attractions on the Big Island

.

Happy Aloha Friday!
