Renee is very right. Given its history, one would not expect the beauty and peacefulness that are to be found here! Beauty, cool air, and a gentle quiet only broken by the occasional sound of a clucking chicken or the arrival of a tour bus.
Sigh. It just makes me want to take a nap! :)
Now that's gotta be peaceful if the thought of being there makes you want to take a nap. :)
LOL! Yes, I have to admit to hanging out around there and people watching from time to time. It's just one of those rare moments of quiet time. :)
