I’m always excited to hear from readers who tell me about how much they enjoyed their travels to Hawaii. This past week, at a conference in Las Vegas, I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Go Visit Hawaii reader Josh Gampel of Onward Search in Connecticut. Josh and his new bride, Jenn, honeymooned on Maui, Oahu, and Kauai in August.
From chatting with Josh, I could tell that he was very happy with choosing Hawaii for his honeymoon. Josh said, “I was amazed and blown away at how beautiful everything was. I lived on the Gold Coast of Australia and thought I had “seen it all” but Hawaii exceeded any expectations I had.”
Josh told me that he read Go Visit Hawaii for months before his trip and found it to be a big help for his honeymoon planning. That’s always music to my ears.
I asked Josh if he had another trip planned to go back to Hawaii. He doesn’t, but he shared a sentiment that I sometimes hear from other Go Visit Hawaii readers who fall in love with Hawaii. Josh said, “I find myself reading your emails and blog even more… Now [after] being there, I like to continually learn about the updates and see what you post.”
I’m willing to bet that there’s a return visit to the Aloha State for Josh and Jenn. I’m thinking one year anniversary on the Big Island. 😉
